The group was created in January, 2015 with research focuses on the genomic mechanisms underlying social interaction in locusts and bumblebees. We aim to uncover the neuromolecular mechanisms underlying locust aggregation and migration, social behaviors in bumblebees by using integrative methods, such as, genome sequence, RNAi, CRISPR/Cas9 and neurophysiological recording.
