We are interested in three aspects: (1) the molecular role of insect salivary proteins secreted by phloem feeders in plant determination and host adaptation; (2) The behavioral basis, immune response and regulatory mechanism of vector insects with high efficiency of virus transmission; (3) The relationships among wing plasticity of aphids, ecological adaptation and endosymbiotic bacteria.
